A new genus of Harpalina Bonelli, 1810 from Madagascar and Europa Island (Coleoptera: Carabidae, harpalinae)

Harpalomimus, a new genus of the subtribe harpalina Bonelli, 1810, is described for Harpalus bitinctus Jeannel, 1948 (type species) from Madagascar and for H. europae n. sp. from Europa Island. The habitus and male genitalia of the treated taxa are illustrated.
