Generator adopting flywheel as outer rotor

2012
The utility model relates to a generator adopting a flywheel as the outer rotor. The generator comprises an engine flywheel (1), a stator coil (2) and a tile-type magnet (3). The generator is characterized in that the tile-type magnet (3) is embedded into the engine flywheel (1), a stator (7) is fixed on an engine body (5), the stator coil (2) is wound onto the stator (7), the stator coil (2) is guided to the outside of the flywheel cover (4) through a wire (6), and electrical energy is outputted through the wire (6). According to the generator of the utility model, the conventional generator independent structure form is canceled, and the generator adopting a flywheel as the outer rotor is adopted, wherein the generator adopting a flywheel as the outer rotor is installed inside the engine as one component of the engine, so the size and weight of a generator set is greatly reduced, and basic conditions are provided for achieving the compact and lightweight design of the generator set. The generator of the utility model is particularly applicable in fields in which the generator set size requirements are strict.
