Using differential evolution to research the multi-objective optimization of medical sensor networks: A brief discussion

The medical sensor network is special application of WSNs. In a medical sensor network, the users' information needs to be transmitted to the doctor workstation with smaller time delay. Meanwhile, the reliability and energy consumption are necessary to consider. This is multi-objective path optimization because there is exists conflict between these factors. Among to research such problem, the popular method is converting it into single objective for analysis. Due to the medical sensor network belongs to a new interdisciplinary research direction, there are does not much scholars to research it and does not exist review for it. Therefore, we analysis the multi-objective path optimization problems deeply, especially introduce the mathematical model of that and use the differential evolution algorithm to study this problem. Finally, we solve this problem based on differential evolution algorithm and provide some preliminary simulation tests. The results verify the validity of our method and offer certain reference and suggestion for researching this problem in the future. .
