An Analysis of Knowledge Map on Exhibitors Research in China based on CiteSpace

2020
The article uses CiteSpace to analyze the knowledge map of sample literatures from the core journals and CSSCI journals in CNKI database. The research indicates that taking the year 2007 and 2015 as the turnpoint, Chinese exhibitors research has gone through three stages of initial exploration, prosperity and development, and low-level operation. Although the number of literatures fluctuates greatly, the research quality has improved overally. From the perspective of the main authors and institutions, some research teams have been formed, but mutual cooperation among different regions or institutions needs to be strengthened urgently. In terms of research hotspots, this field has constructed a research level system based on the "macro-micro" linkage perspective, which not only explores the perceived value, satisfaction, and performance of exhibitors, but also analyzes the reaction mechanism among exhibitors and other stakeholders in the exhibition. At the same time, this article explains the brand constructing and sustainable development of exhibitions based on the perspective of exhibitors. In the future, relevant research should further expand the depth and breadth of the theory, as well as focus on exploring the business model innovation and construction of "smart exhibition" issues under the background of digitalization so as to provide guidance for the development of the exhibition industry in the post-epidemic era.
