Tuft manufacturing method

The invention provides a method for manufacturing samples or tufts for fiber length testing, and the method is characterized by comprising the following steps: 1, manufacturing ribbons: manufacturing loose fiber samples to be tested into ribbons in which fibers are straightly, parallelly and randomly arranged; and 2, manufacturing tufts: clamping any cross section of a ribbon, and combing away floating fibers so as to obtain a tuft. The method disclosed by the invention has the technical advantages of strong sample representativeness, small accidental errors, simplicity and rapidness in operation, and low hardware cost.
