Modeling of Transient Multiphase Flow in a CO2 Injection Well with the Wellbore-Reservoir Coupled Simulator T2Well-ECO2M

Summary This paper presents preliminary results of a new T2Well version, coupled with modified ECO2M equation of state, able to simulate three-phase flow in the wellbore with the coexistence of liquid and gaseous CO2, with the final aim to be able to detect possible operational problems caused by phase changes during transient flow periods.
