A microcapillary electrophoreses fluorescence detection system with a blue-light-emitting diode as light source

To miniaturize the system, we use an LED and a pin photodetector for light-induced fluorescence detection of capillary electrophoreses. To overcome the drawback of low gain in a photodetector, we use the technique of lock-in amplification.
