Spastic paraplegia, glaucoma and mental retardation — in three sibilings. A new genetic syndrome

2009
The combination of glaucoma, spastic paraplegia and mental retardation, which has not been reported earlier, was found in three siblings as well as in an old related woman, who showed a clinical picture correspondent with a late phase of the same syndrome. Catamnestic observations were given about paraplegia and mental retardation with no particulars about ophthalmological status in a young related man. This syndrome is most probably autosomal and recessively transmitted.
