Evolució de les cobertes del sòl d’Andorra durant el període 1972-1995

EnglishDuring the second half of the 20th century Andorra experienced substantial changes in the landscape. The principal cause of these changes was the increase in population and a diversification of the economic and working system. The country has moved from a traditional system, based on agriculture and stock farming, to a more capitalist system orientated towards tourism and the service sector in general. One way of being able to quantify the change is to compare the land cover maps from the years 1972 and 1995. The main changes seen are: a considerable increase in woodland, an increase in territory devoted to urban areas and infrastructures, and a clear reduction of crops. The evolutionary study of land cover helps us to gain a historical perspective of the dynamic of change in the landscape and, at the same time, becomes a very useful tool in carrying out projects for the management and planning of the territory. francaisDurant la deuxieme moitie du XXeme siecle, l’Andorre a subit un changement notoire de son paysage. Ce changement est du principalement a une augmentation de la population et a une diversification de son systeme social-economique. On passe d’un systeme traditionnel, base sur l’agriculture et l’elevage, a un systeme plus capitaliste oriente vers le tourisme et les secteurs des services en general. Une des methodes permettant d´observer ces changements, consiste a comparer les cartes de couvertures du sol des annees 1972 et 1995. Les principaux changements enregistres se notent dans l´augmentation considerable de la foret au detriment des superficies de culture, ainsi que dans l´augmentation du territoire dedie aux zones urbaines et aux infrastructures. L’etude evolutive des couvertures du sol nous aide a avoir une perspective historique de la dynamique du changement de paysage. Elle demeure un outil indispensable dans la mise en œuvre des futurs projets de gestion et de planification du territoire.
