On some constructions of ordinal sums of fuzzy implications

In this contribution new ways of constructing of ordinal sum of fuzzy implications are proposed. The methods allow considering summands on intervals of different type: open, closed, or half-open. Sufficient properties of fuzzy implications as summands for obtaining a fuzzy implication as a result are presented. Moreover, preservation of some properties of the ordinal sums are examined. Among others neutral property, identity property, and ordering property are considered.
