PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module and the hollow fiber membrane module which can reduce a process for filling and curing resin to only one time, is simplified and can reduce waste of resources.SOLUTION: A hollow fiber membrane module 4A has at least one sheet of hollow fiber membrane sheet-like material 1A and a housing 5b having an opening part 14 formed, both end parts of the hollow fiber membrane sheet-like material 1A being inserted to the opening part 14 and being fixed. Therein, on both end parts of the hollow fiber membrane sheet-like material 1A, strip-like bundled parts made of elastomer having elongation of 100% or more are formed respectively at least by two arrays, while a bundled part provided on the side closest to the end part on each end part of the bundled parts is inserted into the housing 5b from the opening part 14, the hollow fiber membrane sheet-like material 1A is fixed in the housing 5b liquid-tightly with a resin 6 for fixation, and a bundled part provided on the side closest to the center in the longitudinal direction of the hollow fiber membrane sheet-like material 1A is exposed from the housing 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
