FINDING REVOLUTIONARY ROAD TO INDUSTRY 4.0 FOR WOMEN’S SMALL-SCALE BUSINESS

This research tried to find factors that hindered the effort of women from Gunung HaluVillage, West Bandung Distric, West Java, Indonesia, to do small-scale business. This is anexploratory type of study with questionnaire and interview method for collecting data. Focusof this research is from the accounting point of view. The findings showed the minimum ofbasic knowledge in simple financial management as presumed before. However, instead oftrying to solve problems with traditional approach, this research try to leap to the mostmodern tool to empower them in escalating their business capability, which is the the Internetof Things (IoT). This study should provide the West Bandung District with necessary steps totake practical programs involving high technology. It should be able to support the businesswomen at Gunung Halu villages to reach for the era of Industry 4.0 Revolution through bigbang implementation.
