THE CHARACTER OF THE REACTIONS OF 2,4-DIACETYL(DIETHOXYCARBONYL)-5- HYDROXY-5-METHYL-3-Ar-CYCLOHEXANONES WITH HYDRAZINE AND HYDROXYLAMINE

The reaction of 2,4-diacetyl(diethoxycarbonyl)-5-hydroxy-5-methyl-3-Ar-cyclohexanones with hydrazine hydrate and hydroxylamine has been studied. This interaction has been shown to be selective and to proceed, depending on the nature of substituting groups (acetyl or ester ones) and temperature condition of the reaction, either with participation of carbonyl group of alicycle, or by 1,3-dioxofragment with the resulting formation of the appropriate hydrazones, oximes, condensed pyrazols and isoxazols. Composition of the reaction products is established by IR and 1 Н NMR methods.
