The Development of QSNB-I Well-type Neutron Counting Device

In the present work,QSNB-I well-type neutron counting device is developed.The device detection chamber diameter is 12 cm,with 8 He proportional counters in a polyethylene body.In order to improve the device's reliability,a new type of junction box is designed.The detection efficiency of the device,detection efficiency and the sourcepositional relationship are simulated and tested.The obtained results show that the well -type neutron counting device has a smaller spatial sensitivity and the test detection efficiency of 15.6%, which is in good agreement with the simulation results of 16.4%.
