Manufacturing the SOLEAD main vessel: the choice of the Weld Overlay Cladding process

The present paper contributes to the topic of weld overlay cladding, according to the experience of Walter Tosto S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of highly innovative and technological critical equipment. Following an introduction of welding processes, the guidelines for the selection of a suitable application method are described.
