An Effective Method for Dynamic Service Deployment on Mobile Devices

Mobile devices have been rapidly evolving in terms of its computing capability. They are treated not only as cell phones, but also the lightweight computing devices. At the same time, service-based mobile applications are emerging. However, in service-based mobile computing, services on station node could be provided with instability and low performance due to unexpected high volume of service invocations, degradation of network bandwidth, etc. To remedy these issues, we propose a method to dynamic service deployment on mobile devices. After deployment, many neighbor mobile nodes in the same area could easily invoke services dynamically deployed. By applying the proposed method, we prove that the overall quality of services could be considerably improved.
