Methacrylic resin composition, method for producing same, molded body, film, and polarizing plate

Provided is a methacrylic resin composition which exhibits high transparency, has a low phase difference in the thickness direction, and can be easily stretched. This methacrylic resin composition contains: a methacrylic resin in which the content of structural units derived from methyl methacrylate is 80 mass % or higher and which has a weight average molecular weight of 200,000 or lower; a polycarbonate resin which has a viscosity average molecular weight of 1,000-32,000 and the content of which is 1-4 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the methacrylic resin; and a polymer processing aid which has an average degree of polymerization of 3,000-40,000 and the content of which is 0.3-6 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the methacrylic resin. The total quantity of the methacrylic resin and the polycarbonate resin contained in the methacrylic resin composition is 80 mass % or higher.
