On Domestication and Foreignization of Cultural Factors in Translation

The modes and methods for the transplantation of culture in the process of translation are generally divided into two kinds,i.e.domestication and foreignization.The two methods have their respective strong points and weak points.In order to achieve the best possible effect in the process of translation,the translator should take various restrictive factors into consideration and adopt the two principles flexibly in combination with translation purpose.
