Imaging system with orthogonal transmission signals

The present invention relates to a method and a system for illumination and imaging of objects by means of millimeter waves. According to a method aspect of the invention, multiple transmit antennas send signals simultaneously from each antenna transmits on its own transmission frequency and the transmission signals are mutually orthogonal. Signals reflected by the object (806, 808) are received by a plurality of receiving antennas, and based upon this, an image of the object is determined.
