Kinetic aspects of thermooxidative decomposition of some lignosulfonates under non isothermal conditions

Kinetic parameters of thermooxidative decomposition of three groups of lignosulfonates (LS-NH 4 : LS-Fe and LS-Ca), both unmodified and modified by epoxidation, have been evaluated. The three evaluation methods used, namely Coats-Redfern, Reich-Levi and Swaminathan, permitted evaluation of the kinetic parameters for narrow temperature and conversion degree ranges, and establishment of the isokinetic relation and the most probable conversion function' for each decomposition reaction. A comparison of thermal stability as a function of chemical composition is also made.
