Analysis of Long-term Follow-up in Semi-Laminectomy in Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective To evaluate the long-term treatment effect of semi-laminectomy in lumbar intervertebral disc herniation operation.Method 318 cases were analyzed and followed up for a long term from 1995-2007,all cases were reviewed in clinic by questionnaire based on NaKaNo Standard.Results The rate of instant good recovery after operation is 96.6% in 318 patients,the rate of good recovery after six months is 90.9%,the rate of good recovery over 1 year is 84.6%,the rate of good recovery over 2 year is 87.1%.No postoperative complications.Good outcome was showed in 15 recurrent cases who received second operations.Conclusion It is concluded that semi-laminectomy approach in intervertebral disc herniation operation tends to have a good treatment effect.
