The Effects of Staphylococcus Aureus DNA On Immunocompetence of Mice

2005
Objective To investigate the effects of staphylococcus aureus DNA on immunocompetence of mice . Methods The chromatic DNA purified from staphylococcus aureus was injected peritoneally into mice, and NK、Mφ cells and IFN-γ、TNF-α of activity were detected. Results The activity of NK、Mφ cells in experimental group were (75.0±13.9)%,(74.7±6.9)%, respectively. While they were (53.2±17.4)%, (53.8±8.8)% in control group respectively. They were significantly higher in experimental group than those in control group(P0.01),The activity of IFN-γ、TNF-α in experimental group respectively were 120.33±45.32,28.77±8.51, and were 125.25±27.57,25.40±9.68 in control group respectively. They were no significantly higher in experimental group than those in control group(P0.05)。Conclusion staphylococcus aureus DNA can augument NK、Mφ cells activity, but no effects on IFN-γ、TNF-α.
