Terminal control method and system

Embodiments of the present invention provide a terminal control method and system. In one aspect, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises: when a terminal is in an unlocked state, detecting a state of an owner user in front of the terminal; and if it is detected that the state of the owner user in front of the terminal is that the owner user leaves the terminal, executing a locking operation on the terminal. Therefore, according to the technical scheme provided by the embodiments of the present invention, when the terminal is in the unlocked state, the state of the owner user in front of the terminal can be obtained automatically; and after it is determined that the owner user leaves the terminal, the terminal is automatically locked, thereby reducing the locking operation cost of the terminal and improving the locking efficiency. Moreover, after the owner user leaves the terminal, the terminal can be prevented from being used by another user, thereby improving the reliability and security of the terminal.
