Effect of emotional quotation training on comprehensive ability of young nurses

Objective To analyze the ability difference of young nurses and explore the effect of emotional quotation training on the comprehensive ability of young nurses.Methods A survey of the comprehensive ability of 192 young nurses with different working years was conducted and analyzed their ability difference and the emotional quotation training content.Forty-five newly-graduated nurses were divided into two groups randomly to evaluate the influence of emotional quotation training on their comprehensive ability.Results The young nurses with different working years had significantly different scores of interpersonal communication ability,psycho-control ability and adaptability (F =4.43,2.76,2.50,2.93,respectively ; P ＜0.05).The score of interpersonal communication of the nurses with a bachelor degree was higher than that of non-bachelor education degree nurses (F =7.41,P ＜ 0.05).The scores of group cooperation spirit,psychocontrol ability,and adaptability of the experimental group were significantly higher than that of the control group [(4.19 ±0.35) vs (3.80 ±0.48),(4.05 ±0.32)vs (3.80 ±0.33),(4.09 ±0.38)vs (3.82 ±0.40) ; t =-2.91,-2.05,-2.01,respectively;P＜0.05)].Conclusions The interpersonal communication ability,psycho-control ability and adaptability of the newly-graduated nurses are poorer.Emotional quotation training can improve their spirit of group cooperation,psycho-control ability and adaptability.
