The present invention provides a system and method for analyzing a network (1; 3). The system (10; 110) is formed with: a plurality of analysis devices (12; 112, 212; 312, 412, 512, 612) which are adapted to receive first data from the network (1) in accordance with adjustable analysis parameters, and feed according to the analysis parameters adjustable second data in the network (1); wherein the analysis means (12; 112, 212; 312, 412, 512, 612) are adapted to time-synchronize with each other; and a control device (16; 116, 216; 316), which via a physical and / or virtual evaluation network (2; 202; 302) with the analysis devices (12; 112, 212; 312, 412, 512, 612) is connected and by which the analysis parameters are at least partly adjustable.
