Application of Converged Communication in smart power consumption interactive service

Smart grid is an important measure to deal with the problems of global warming and energy shortages, and smart power consumption is an important part of smart grid. As the basis for the smart grid, communication technology is the key to achieve the informationization, automation, interactivity of power grid. This article focuses on the Converged Communications involving optical fiber communication, wireless communication and power line communication, proposes a application model of converged communication and then introduces the application of Converged Communications in smart power consumption interactive service. Finally, a prediction of the Converged Communications' future development trend is presented.
