Carleman estimate for wave equations coupled with the second order terms

Abstract In this paper, we establish a Carleman estimate for a hyperbolic system coupled with the second order terms. For a special case when the coupled second-order operators are equal, a treatment of simple method is discussed under an extra assumption.
