The invention relates to a method of planting herba houttuyniae in a greenhouse, which includes: firstly, setting up a greenhouse; secondly, using sandy soil with 5.0-6.5 pH, 20-25g/kg organic content, 1.0-1.5g/kg total nitrogen, 100-150mg/kg content of quick-acting potassium and 40-50mg/kg content of rapidly available phosphorus for planting, scattering high-quality stems of herba houttuyniae with one to two bud eyes on a nursery according to a seeding quantity of 40-50kg/mu, wherein the planting is available all year around; and thirdly, performing management, including temperature control, irrigation, topdressing, weeding and control of pest diseases and insect pests. Using the method can especially solve the problem of partial supply insufficiency of fresh herba houttuyniae lands in winter and spring (from November to May), so that the part of herba houttuyniae can grow normally in the herba houttuyniae lands in winter and spring, the growth period of the greenhouse planted herba houttuyniae is shortened, and the yield is evidently higher than that planted in bare lands.
