Unified treatment of ultrasonic horn characteristics based on four-end network approach

Ultrasonic horn is an important part in ultrasonic machining equipment.There are various types of horns,each having many parameters that are difficult to calculate.Based on the four-end net-work theory,for ultrasonic horns with a common shape function and different cross sections,performa-nce factors such as resonance frequency equation,displacement node,amplification factor,input force impedance,etc.,are expressed using the same equation.In this way design and calculation of ultrasonic horn become more convenient.
