Effects of Expandable Optical Design for LED Lighting Products

This study introduced how to design expandable optical kits for LED aquarium lights that help the artificial breeding cor-als for reef aquarium of indoor aquaculture. The LED lights must have higher light intensity, right spectrum and good color mixing and uniformity design for coral growth. By wide and deep diffusion kit design to meet good performances of penetration, color mixing, enriched blending, and shimmer etc. For focus illumination applications, we also design Fres-nel lens with different rear pattern and diffuse particle to provide variety solutions. The results demonstrate the good performances and aquaculture design references for aquari-um industries and hobbyists apply the LED lighting products in different applications.
