New network copolymers of 1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole as efficient sorbents of mercury

The possibility of preparing copolymers by radical copolymerization of 1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole with divinyl sulfide and divinyl diethylene glycol ether in the bulk was examined. The sorption characteristics of the new cross-linked copolymers with respect to mercury(II) ions under static conditions in acid solutions were studied.
