The invention discloses an action mechanism of microRNA-22 in hair growth and androgen-induced alopecia and discloses an application of the microRNA-22 in the hair growth and the androgen-induced alopecia for the first time, and meanwhile, discloses an in-vivo research method of over-expressing the miR-22 for inducing alopecia or knocking-out the miR-22 for antagonizing the androgen-induced alopecia for the first time, wherein the nucleotide sequence of the microRNA-22 is represented as the SEQ ID No.1.
