“Lead-Pipe Colon” of Chronic Ulcerative Colitis on Abdominal X-Ray

Lead-pipe colon is a characteristic sign of chronic ulcerative colitis typically seen on barium enema or contrast computed tomography. We present image of this condition on abdominal X-ray and highlight the importance of this sign in acute exacerbation of ulcerative colitis.
