Treatment of severe multiple injuries in children

The authors make some general comments on the treatment of severe multiple injuries in children. They recommend to classify multiple injuries by the dominating symptoms into six basic groups. Next they present a classification of multiple injuries by the severity of the clinical course and present indicating rules for the treatment of severe associated injuries in children.
