Grés, vinho e imigração: arqueologia de uma produção vitivinícola, São Paulo, 1920-1950

The article describes the results of the Chacara Cayres archaeological site excavation, in Sao Bernardo do Campo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The site is part of an ancient family farm, built in the first half of 20th century, with a cellar to produce wine. The analysis of artifacts associated to the cellar structures, specially stoneware bottles, allow propose some possibilities to historical archaeology of Sao Paulo city, around immigration and bottles reuse. The Cayres Farm allow to question Brazilian technology of wine production and discourse about an important socioeconomic and cultural activity of Sao Paulo state, the production of wine by European immigrants.
