Providing Library Collections the SMART Way

The SMART collaboration among local authority and tertiary libraries in the lower North Island of New Zealand is providing a model for the provision of regional library services while retaining organizational autonomy. This article discusses the main customer-facing service offering to date and some of the lessons learned.
