Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di Kelas X SMA Negeri Nawangan Pacitan

The aim of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcome in using Mind Mapping learning model on economic subjects in class X Nawangan Public High School in Central Bank material. The research methodology used was quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research was X grade students of Nawangan Public High Scool. The sampling was using purposive sampling technique with X IPS 1 as experiment class and X IPA 1 as control class. The data collection technique was using observation, test, and documentation. The analysis technique used to test the research result was independent sample t-test. The research result indicate that There were differences in student learning outcomes in learning using Mind Mapping learning model to conventional learning. This was proofed by the t test result which shown the significant value of 4,788 > = 2,013 with the significance level of 5%. The gain score of experimental class was in the high category while the control class was in the medium category.
