Ancillary Techniques for Vocal Fold Injection

Although conventional technique for vocal fold injection is widely used, several ancillary techniques have been reported to increase the accuracy of injection and be alternative in case of difficult laryngeal anatomy for conventional approach. While there has been limited literature report in terms of novel technique, a few techniques are used for clinical setting. In this chapter, author aims to introduce trans-nasal injection technique, light-guided injection technique, ultrasound-guided technique, and others.
