Lithium ion non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery
2001
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent high temperature resistance, capable of maintaining high stability when charging it and even under a high temperature. SOLUTION: This lithium ion nonaqueous electrolyte battery is provided with an positive electrode and a negative electrode using a material capable of doping and dedoping lithium ions as a positive electrode active material and a negative electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte obtained by dispersing an electrolyte in an nonaqueous medium. A sulfur compound is disposed at a position where it can be brought into contact with the nonaqueous medium. A sulfate compound is used as the sulfur compound. The specific area of the sulfate compound is 0.5-3.0 m /g. The positive electrode and the negative electrode are formed by coating a positive electrode mix layer or a negative electrode mix layer on a strip collector. A rolled electrode formed by laminating/rolling the both electrodes through a separator is used.
