Viscosity of diethylene glycol-based Y2O3 nanofluids
2015
This paper presents original results of measurements on viscosity of diethylene glycol-based nanofluids. Nanofluids were prepared with a two-step method from dry ceramic nanopowders. A series of rheological experiments in a range of shear rates from to in logarithmic scale were performed to establish viscosity curves for different concentrations of nanoparticles in nanofluid. Dynamic viscosity of /DG nanofluids at constant shear rate has been measured in the temperature range from C to C. The authors attempted to match a mathematical function to the dependence of the dynamic viscosity on temperature.
