The value of QT dispersion in predicting prognosis on hypertension patients

Objective:To study the value of QT dispersion(QTd) in predicting prognosis on hypertension patients.Methods:One hundred and fifty\|four cases of hypertension patient were received measurement of ECG (QTd), 24 hour ambulatory electrocardiogram (DCG) and left ventricular thickness (LVH).Results:The left ventricular myocardial was hypertrophic significantly,QTd of ECG prolonged significantly and complicated arrhythmia increaseed significantly in moderate to heavy hypertension patients.The left ventricular myocardial hypertrophy was not significant in the mild hypertension patients.When blood pressure increases sharply,the acute myocardial ischemia,QTd prolongation and complicated arrhythmia occured.Conclusion:The results suggest that QTd of ECG may be significant index in predicting prognosis on hypertension patients.
