The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for particle reinforced metal matrix composite surface, belonging to the technical field of anti-wear material preparation; the present invention the apparatus comprises a cavity boss, a quartz tube, EPS foam, preformed layer, metal network, quartz sand, metal, rubber stopper, rectangular quartz, sand, quartz outer tube, vacuum gauge, a vacuum valve, a vacuum pump; by vacuum sealing techniques of the present invention to improve the filling capacity of the molten metal, the molten metal in order to facilitate enhanced permeability between the particles, thereby obtaining a thicker layer of a more densified composite, the particles prepared surface reinforced metal matrix composites having a high volume fraction of reinforcement, a more uniform distribution of the reinforcement as well as excellent impact wear properties; present invention the method of molten metal filling ability strong, thick surface particle reinforced metal matrix composite thickness of the surface characteristics of the composite material; method of preparation of the present invention is applicable not only to the general surface of particulate reinforced metal matrix composites, are also suitable for preparing composite material geometry preparation of test material high mechanical requirements.
