THE OVT TRACK GEOMETRY MEASURING SYSTEM

The Overlapping Versine Trolley (OVT) is a newly developed hand/machine propelled track geometry measuring system, which makes use of the principle of overlapping versines. This article looks at the accuracy of the data collection and processing achieved by this new system.
