Soybean meal-based adhesive for wood and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a soybean meal-based adhesive for wood and a preparation method thereof. The soybean meal-based adhesive is prepared from the following materials in parts by weight: 60-70 parts of dispersing medium, 20-35 parts of defatted soybean protein powder, 0.5-2 parts of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, 1-8 parts of cross-linking reinforcing agent and 1-8 parts of sodium benzoate. The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding the defatted soybean protein powder and the sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate to a dispersing medium; uniformly stirring, and keeping temperature at 60-80 DEG C for 3-6 hours; and then reducing the temperature of an obtained mixture to 25-35 DEG C, adding the cross-linking reinforcing agent and the sodium benzoate, and uniformly stirring. The preparation method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simple process and convenience for operation; and the produced adhesive is free of formaldehyde, and main raw materials are derived from renewable substances, and thus safety and environmental friendliness are achieved.
