Martensitic stainless steel for medical surgical devices having infection resistance

2015
The invention discloses martensitic stainless steel for medical surgical devices having infection resistance. The martensitic stainless steel comprises the following components by the mass percentage: 0.40-0.60% of C, not more than 1.0% of Si, not more than 1.0% of Mn, not more than 0.03% of P, not more than 0.03% of S, 15.0-18.0% of Cr, 2.5-3.5% of Cu, 0.50-1.0% of Mo, 0.05-0.15% of V, and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities. The alloy material is obtained by adopting a conventional smelting method, carrying out hot forging and hot rolling and then carrying out solid solution and aging treatment. The alloy material has the advantages of higher hardness and excellent wear resistance, infection resistance and corrosion resistance, can be processed into knife and scissor products with various shapes, and is applied to the field of medical surgical instruments having higher infection resistance requirements and the fields such as utensils and kitchen appliances requiring antisepsis.
