The dynamics of an ultrasonic drawing process

A model of the ultrasonic drawing process is proposed and studied. The tangential elastic compliance of the material being deformed is taken into account in the description of the conical surfaces of the die and blank. The analysis results make it possible to explain the experimentally observed effects of a decrease in the drawing force during the ultrasonic vibration of the die.
