Integrated fuel processor for a decentralized Wasserstoffproktion

A fuel processing system comprising: a combustor; a steam reformer, which is arranged in heat transfer relationship to the combustor; a water gas shift reactor disposed downstream of the reformer to receive a reformate flow therefrom; a combustor preheater which is located downstream of the water-gas shift reactor to receive the reformate flow therefrom and disposed upstream of the combustor to supply the combustor, a combustor, after heat of the reformate flow to the combustor feed into the preheater combustor has been transferred; and a water preheater which is located downstream of the water-gas shift reactor to receive the reformate flow therefrom and to transfer heat from the reformate flow to a water flow which is fed to a reformer feed mixture that is passed to the reformer.
