The review presents an analysis of the results of domestic and foreign professional literature that using of different medicinal products for the treatment of periodontal disease. There have been made the emphasis on the selection of using different drugs depending on the pathogenesis of periodontal diseases and their stage. The efficacy of drugs whose mechanism of action is aimed at pathogens of periodontal pockets and cupping expressed inflammatory symptoms had been proved. Presented the views of various scientists who deal with the problem of conservative treatment of periodontal diseases. Made a promise to the shortcomings of traditional methods of treatment, convincingly and motivatedly, and identified the problems further search for optimal treatment.
