Gasqualitiätsmanagement in Gastransportsystemen. Diskussion

2003
The European Single Market Directive for Natural Gas is implemented in the Federal Republic of Germany by the Verbandevereinbarung II (Association Agreement II), which defines, among other things, the technical requirements on negotiated third party access. A key issue is the requirement for compatibility of the gas, so that, besides the physical transport, correct gas accounting and trouble-free gas application can be carried out. If the compatibility is not guaranteed, the transport network operator can, in his gas quality management, as far as possible attempt by means of technical or commercial measures to provide compatibility as a system service. In a liberalised gas market the complexity of gas quality management therefore increases among the network operators.
