Development and use of automated suites for treating effluents containing oil. Part I

A treatment suite is considered for an oil-handling business (reception, storage, and discharging various grades of heavy fuel oil, diesel fuel, and bunkered oil products) with flow rates of 2060–3160 m3/day. The suite provides essentially complete extraction of suspended droplets of oil products and other compounds. The COD in the treated water is reduced to 20–30 mg/liter.
